OUR SERVICES

Therapy that meets you where you are — relational, honest, and rooted in compassion

At Online Therapy Ontario, we offer trauma-informed therapy for individuals, couples, relationships, and families navigating emotional wounds, relationship struggles, and patterns rooted in intergenerational trauma. Whether you're just wanting to feel better, looking for change, perhaps healing from narcissistic abuse, or think you might be a narcissist yourself, working through ADHD-related challenges, or simply seeking deeper connection, our services are designed to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

Our approach centers on relational healing—because disconnection doesn’t heal in isolation. We work with you to build emotional awareness, strengthen communication, and transform how you relate to yourself and others.

Individual Therapy

A space to reconnect with yourself—honestly, gently, and at your own pace

At Online Therapy Ontario, individual therapy is more than just talk. It’s a relational process rooted in compassion, lived experience, and practical tools for healing. You’ll work one-on-one with Darren Elliott, a Registered Psychotherapist, who brings empathy and clarity to the therapy room.

Darren specializes in helping adults navigate emotional disconnection, anxiety, ADHD, grief, and the long-term impact of growing up in narcissistic or emotionally neglectful family systems. As someone who has lived through these challenges himself, he meets you not with judgment—but with genuine understanding.

We support clients exploring:

  • 2SLGBTQIA+ identity, gender exploration, alternative relationships, and internalized shame

  • Emotional abuse including narcissistic and toxic relationship dynamics

  • ADHD, emotional regulation, and self-trust

  • Grief, loss, anxiety, and chronic stress

  • Childhood trauma and invisible wounds

Teachers

Many teachers are trying to regulate way too many nervous systems for one person to deal with.

During happy times, maybe, but not today.

We live in anxiety-provoking times. The more stress we feel, the less we are able to be the best, most loving, supportive version of ourselves.

When families are living in stress, so is their child who sits in your classroom.

When you have overwleming days, you have nothing left for your own life, your own loveds ones. This erodes your family relationships over time as well, and your personal life generally.

We need to not only have tools for self-regulation, we need practices that support us feeling well at work.

Whether or not you work with a therapist or coach, we hope you will access our teacher support resources (we could also call these Healthy Classroom Resources) here:

As a former teacher myself, I get it. I am creating resources for teachers and students and parents that are school board friendly and on mission with Ontario Educational Social Emotional Learning strategies.

Teachers are often having to be parents, to provide guidance that is missing, emotional support, accomodations for various special needs, teach more than 20 humans all while keeping their cool and maintaining a model of respect and kindness.

This is really hard to do when the classroom is just TOO MUCH, and I hear that it is for many teachers in 2026. You are on the front lines of our emotional health crisis, unknown adaptations to growing up with screens, a society generally living in anxiety right now - and stressed kids behave differntly than kids who feel safe and loved.

If this is you, or something in between, welcome.

How you feel, matters.

Support is here.

Below are some niche programs we offer

Fatherhood Support Program

Support for fathers who want to show up fully—for themselves and their families

Fatherhood therapy program focused on emotional growth, healthy parenting, anger management, and relationship building with licensed Ontario therapists.

This service is beneficial for anyone who was not able to fully share love and kindness with their own parent, and is designed for men ready to parent with intention, presence, and emotional connection—especially those raised in narcissistic, emotionally unavailable, or chaotic family systems. Whether you're struggling with anger, distance, or the weight of fatherhood, you're not alone.

This is about changing the family patterns you were given that were rooted more in trauma than love. They did the best they could, now you can change the game for your own family.

Don’t do opposite, do what is supportive, attuned.

Darren works with fathers to:

  • Reflect on how their upbringing informs their parenting style

  • Develop tools to navigate emotional distance and foster understanding within parent-child relationships.

  • Improve emotional expression, regulation, and accountability

  • Break generational cycles of avoidance or emotional control

This isn’t about perfect parenting. It’s about showing up with courage and care—and learning how to stay grounded through it all.
